Word Shooter Instructions Gameplay - The objective of the game is to score as many points as possible by alphabetizing sets of words. Each word has a matching colored turret directly below it. Drag the turrets over each other to make them switch places, which will cause the corresponding words to move likewise as they descend toward the turrets. Once the words are arranged in the correct order, fire at them by double clicking on a turret. See the number of word sets destroyed for each level between levels, and for the entire game at the end of the game. Scoring - Each level consists of twenty word sets. The first level has two words per word set and each level will have one more word on all word sets than the previous level. Since the points earned for each word set is equal to the amount of words it contains, it is possible to attain up to twenty more points for each ensuing level. In addition to the total score being shown throughout the game, see the score for each level between levels, and for the entire game at the end of the game. Bonus Hits - There is a moving line that goes from left to right underneath the words and increases in speed for each word set as it moves down closer to the turrets. This line can be aimed for each time a word set is fired upon. A bonus hit is earned each time the line is hit, regardless of whether or not the words are arranged correctly. See the number of bonus hits for each level between levels, and for the entire game at the end of the game. Lifebar - The lifebar gets added to after every four bonus hits on a given level. The lifebar is shown to the left of the small vertical bars that represent the bonus hits. Once a fourth vertical bar appears, one notch is added to the lifebar. One notch of the lifebar will be removed each time the words are fired at when arranged incorrectly or if the words hit the turrets before being fired upon. The game is over when the lifebar is gone. Pass all six levels without completely depleting the lifebar to complete the game.
